what would government officials do if typhoid mary had COVID19 and how would she act today knowing and having so much educational and informative information about COVID19

How typhoid mary will impacting us with COVID19

Solutions

Expert Solution

1) Government officials should

- keep typhoid mary in an isolation ward under the survellience of doctors until the symptoms subside.

- they would take her travel history

2) As typhoid Mary has sufficient education about COVID-19 she would :

- Share her travel history and contact history correctly with the officials

- Stay at home, except for getting medical care, will not go to public areas (avoid using public transportation)

-Separate herself from other people in the home. She would stay in a specific room and away from other people and use a separate bathroom. She would also not share her personal items with anybody

- Wear a mask, cover her cough and sneezes

- Wash hands regularly

- Clean all the surfaces she touched

- Get in contact with the doctor incase she experiences worsening of the symptoms

3) Typhoid Mary can infect anybody with COVID-19 by transitting virus through cough, sneeze and direct contact . The average duration of symptoms is eight days, however she could remian contagious after the end of the symptoms (1-8 day). So its would be better if Typhoid Mary would isolate herself for next 2 weeks
