COPA(Child Online Protection Act): This law was passed in 1984 in United States of America. The purpose of this law was to contraint or restrict the access to the content which was supposed to be harmful for minors and was present on the internet. There were different requirements which were imposed by the COPA. Those requirements were imposed on the different operators of the different websites or on some of the services. This act focused to restrain the websites or those services which were gathering the private information and data knowingly from the children from the internet and the children were of age less than 13 years.

CIPA(Children's Internet Protection Act): This was created in the year 2000.This is actually a bill which was created in order to damper upon the amount of bad content that children can access online. There were different requirements which were imposed by the CIPA. Those requirements were imposed specially on the schools of children and on the libraries which were accessible by the children.
