Eating disorder caused by many factors and it varies in type due
to unhealthy eating habits.
types:
1,Anorexia nervosa:
It is common among young adults that affect mostly women than men.
it causes underweight because people think they are overweight and
avoid some foods and restrict calories.
symptoms include underweight, fear of gaining weight, perceived
body shape on self-esteem, control of their environment for food
restriction.
There are two types of anorexia nervosa called binge eating and
purging type. binge eating includes eating little food, purge type
includes activity of vomiting, exercise more to reduce
weight.
2, Bulimia nervosa: it is common among adolescents and men than
women. eating large amounts of food in a specific period of time,
then purge. Symptoms include feeling a lack of control, prevent
weight gain, low self-esteem, fear of gaining weight.
3, Binge eating disorder common among adolescents it includes
bulimia or subtype of anorexia, symptoms include eating a large
amount of food rapidly until the stomach full uncomfortably,
feeling distressed, shame, guilt, lack of control during binge
eating. nor curing purging behavior, overweight, or obesity.
4, pica: Craving for non- food substance like ice, dirt, chalk,
paper, hair, and wool, etc.
symptoms include infection, gut injury, fatal symptoms, etc.
5, Rumination disorder is a condition in person with regurgitating
food they eat previously chewed they re chewing it or they split it
out.
It is like reflux disease common in infant, child, adult. symptoms
include malnutrition, weight loss, underweight.
6, Avoidant is a disorder fail to meet adequate nutrition daily
because they don't like eating due to sensory character like
changes in taste, smell, color, fear if chocking, and gaining
weight. symptoms include weight loss, nutrition deficiency.
