Expert Solution

Instructions are the steps that contain the detailed information about how a particular process is to be done, the instructions are the core component of the program. Basically program is a sequential arrangement of instructions to achieve a specified task.

Statistics is the branch of mathematics that deals with the collection, organisation, analysis and presentation of the data. It is the study of given data to find out information from it or to summarise that data in better way.

Inferential statistics is the sub branch of statistics , it deals with the analysis of given data to find out meaningful information or inferences from it, the inferences drawn are mostly from the sampled data for the entire population.

Thus statistics is a bridge between sample and population

Probability is the study of chance of having a particular event or situation. It models the transformation from population to the sample distribution. By analysing population we can find out the chance of occurrence of a certain data pattern, then this chance is used as probability of occurrence of that event when a unknown sample is drawn from the population.

Probability and statistics goes hand in hand.

Descriptive statistics: What do all of those numbers mean in terms of the problem. Organizing and summarizing data is called descriptive statistics. Two ways to summarize data are by graphing and by using numbers (for example, finding an average). A statistical graph is a tool that helps you learn about the shape or distribution of a sample or a population. Our data is examining the distance (miles) between twenty retail stores, and a large distribution center The Mean: (84.05 miles)...

Compare and contrast 'probability' and 'possibility.' Include how you would define the two terms - probability and possibility - in a way that clearly defines each, distinguishes them, and describes the differences that are important in the field of statistics. Consider finding an example of the application of the concepts of probability in your own life that illustrates, at least in part, what you described about probability and possibility, and tell us about it. Are meaningful inferential statistics dependent on...
