b. Describe strategies used when planning and preparing for change
Change is the law of universe. The organisations that implement changes carefully tend to survive and give competition to others a lot more. Interventions refer to activities that are intentionally done to carry out something. Interventions are necessary to carry out changes in an organisation.
The five modes of intervening to facilitate changes are : team based intervention - that are focused on building teams that endure to bring changes in the organisation. They focus on task accompolishments together. Role-focussed Intervention- they aim at bringing compatibility between people and their roles. So that their interest can be developed for their jobs. The action-research based intervention-it refers to a change process based on the systematic collection of data and then selection of a change action based on what the analyzed data indicate. Training based intervention- This refers to intervention or change efforts aimed at improving organization effectiveness through changes in the task and structural and technological subsystems. This class of interventions includes changes in the division of overall work of the organization into units. Process-feedback intervention- They focus on bringing the change in systems or processes that are used in the organisation to bring change.continuous feedback is important and this focus on to aiming at feedbacks.
The strategies used when planning and preparing for change are very crucial in bringing change in the organisation. The first strategy is to decide the goal and share the vision among the employees so that everyone's efforts is directed towards one goal and they support the management in implementing change. The other strategy is to communicate freely and frequently to the employees that give them a sense of inclusion the change process. and also to encourage them to give feedback in the processof bringing change. Also sometimes the changes are complex so training should be given to employees so that they have enough knowledge. Use force-field analysis developed by Kurt Lewin to plan and implement changes successfully in an organisation.Create a roadmap of the whole process that the organisation have to undergo for bringing change in them .
