So this discussion topic is going to touch on the obvious. How are you dealing with what's going on right now? Are you cleaning more? Practicing social distancing? Some of my concerns in regard to this are the previously overstretched healthcare systems (flu season) becoming more overwhelmed, diminishing supplies such as gloves, masks, and gowns (not toilet paper;), and overworked healthcare workers becoming ill themselves. Are you feeling unsettled about entering healthcare right now?
Answer :1)In my country the government announced complete shutdown for 21 days. All the people are in quarantine for those periods as a precautionary measures. Public transport will not operate during this period and public gathering are also restricted. All the people including me are trying to obey the government decisions. We believe that this will definitely help to control the current corona virus epidemic.
2)Cleaning is the one of the best ways to protect myself and my family, especially hand washing. Because keeping hands clean is one of the most important methods to prevent germs. So I wash my hands after coming from public places and touched an item or surface that may be frequently touched by other people such as door bells and tables. Also, I use alcohol based hand sanitizer when I can't use soap and water.
3)Definitely, I keep social distancing. Because it is crucial to prevent the spread of contagious illness such as corona virus. Corona virus is spreading through close contact, coughing and sneezing. I believe that if I minimize the contact with others I can reduce the chance of getting this disease.
4)I am not unsettled at this moment. Because in the fight against any disease, nurses play a vital role. As a nurse it is my responsibility to provide care and treatment for patients in any situation. Worldwide, we can see that nurses are hardly working to treat corona patients. Some of them are getting infection. However, I strongly believe that it is my duty to work in health care settings even if I will not get enough personal protective equipment and become ill.
