Here are some key strategies for Teachers of English language learners.

1- The first key strategies is Vocabulary and language development, through which teachers introduce new concepts by discussing vocabulary words key to that concepts.

2- The second strategy is guided interaction. With this method, teachers structure lesson so students work together to understand what they read- by listening, speaking, reading and writing.

3- The third strategy is metacognition and authentic assessments. Rather than having students simply memorize, information, teacher’s model and explicitly teach thinking skills crucial to learning new concepts.

4- The fourth strategy is explicit instructions, or direct teaching of concepts, academic language and reading comprehension strategies needed to complete classroom tasks.

5- The fifth strategy is the use of meaning based context and universal themes, referring to taking something meaningful from the students, everyday lives and using it as a springboard to interest them in academic concepts.

6- The sixth strategy is the use of modelling, graphic, organizers and visuals. The use of various teaching learning components can easily recognize essential information and its relationship with supporting ideas.

7- The seventh strategy is to create appropriate environment where students can learn and practice previous learnings.

8- The final strategy is to provide proper feedback and positive reinforcement to the students so that they could be able to perform well and create self-confidence.
