Ans: The Cultural relationships between Oman and UK since the war fought in 1962-1975, have become much better. Britain has much better interests in the gulf region. Many senior Omani businessmen and politiacl leaders have been educated in UK and consider the Uk as their second home. There has been cultural exchange between the people of the two countries, not only that most of the people who spaek Arab has gone to UK ande settled there. Various cultral activities are held across the Uk and Oman to promote their bilateral relationships. Various conferences are held for the cultural exchange as was held in october 2018 in Muscat. The people of both countries travel to understand each other's culture and society.
The administrative relationship between the two countries have been greatly influenced by the role of UK in influencing the dominantposition by using its power as ithad happened in the past times. The administrative changes in Oman are result of UK interference in the country, thus UK has a great role in changing the overall system of Oman during the past years and most the plitical leaders are greatly inclined towards UK.
The geographical importance of Oman as Arab country has a vital importance for UK to control or to maintain its position in the Asia, Lying close to Iran and Saudi Arabia , it has relatively greater geographical importance as a trading hub in the Persian Gulf and the Indian ocean and to protect their empire in theIndian sub - continent; Muscat has served as the most important trading ports in the Indian Ocean, The coast of Oman has also been usedby the UK to expand its military approach and it is a greater site of military facilities.
The economic relationships between the two countries in terms of trade and other activities date back a long time. There are strong trade ties between the two countries. FDI to UK has substantially increased and not only that Oman has served as hub of trade with the Est Africa, Indian sub- continent and with ither Persian Countries. Capitalization, new entrepreneurs and business has generated employment in the gulf region other than the oil sector. The UK imports oil from Oman and trade ties are bilateral, not only economic but also socail relatinships are good as there is privatisation has happened in Oman and development which is linked to UK.
