The last organisation I worked had a marketing as well as the sales department about the customer database collection and selling of the real estate services and the products. In the sales department, many people were employeed where the integration and the transfer of the data converting it into information and knowledge took place. The first step included the generation of the lead. The numbers from across the social media applications, servers, sites , contacts etc are generated and the database about the contact number of the prospective customers are collected as raw data. Classifying the data into regions, genders and the choices of real estate and apartments one likes, the data is being classified and divided and this converted into relevant information. The data transfer was taken into account where the data was converted into information. Now, this information is used by the calling department where the numbers provided to them would act as a lead. The employees would make a call and ask about the enquiry they had for the real estate or not. Many customers would reject but many customers would also like to have proper information and set up a meeting to see the apartment and buy the real estate. Now, this information is converted into knowledge as it gives the organsiation an idea about the customers of this region say ABC is more prone to buy 3BHK Flats and the customers of XYZ region are more prone to buy a villa or a bunglow. Thus, the transfer of data and integration of data made this happen and helps the organisation to further process its actions.
