American government started with its stated objectives as mention. But, it got changed over a period of time, because it was imperial aspirations, propensity to intervene in others affairs, building different types of strategic alliances in different parts of the world involving giving military support to the nations and exerting more control on their own states, that made USA to change its policies. It got changed in a way that US congress with president, brought changed in the US Constitution to hold more control upon the interstate trade and applied its own federal policies that were super imposing upon these states. The government also brought formation of strategic alliances and in the name of keeping world to be peaceful, the USA started intervened in different parts of the world. The USA also interfered with the domestic affairs of the nations whose trade policies were not suitable for the USA. It brought many changes in the US stances and today the USA is with strategic influence in different parts of the world.
