Solutions

Expert Solution

1. Intrinsic values mean the true values, which are considered essential. Any object has an intrinsic valve within itself. The intrinsic value of an object shows the worth of that object.

Extrinsic values are not inherent to an object and are the extra values that the object provides.

Let us consider a manufacturing organization.

Examples of intrinsic value that the organization provides its employees are a source of earning, work environment, etc

Examples of extrinsic value that the organization provides its employees are bonuses, promotions.

2. Eustress is a kind of stress that is good and positive in nature. It helps in motivating people.

Distress is a kind of negative stress. Continous distress can lead to adverse situations like sickness, psychological issues, etc.

Examples of Eustress are starting a new job, learning a new skill.

Examples of Distress are excessive work pressure at the office, failing in an important exam.
