Expert Solution

Competitors are always on the market because your customers want to have possibilities to choose. They are not because of you. They are there because of your current and potential customers.

Tactfully counter attack the opponents(When they attack us)

Yes, our customers have the right to choose, they want more than one option because they know that if there are competitors and they get more options and they can choose products according to their tastes and they will receive better value for them.

In such a way, on a market there is us, our small business, our products and services and our competitors, their business and their products and services. So we have to face tough competition from our competitors. We want to take as much as possible market share, and our competitors want and really hard work to take as much as possible from the market share. This is the battle that will never stop until one wins, and we need to be aware that competitors will always look to find different ways to attack us as an entrepreneur, our small business as their competitor and our products and services as their competitor’s products and services. So we must be vigilant while dealing with them.

If competitors attack us with all their powerful weapons then 5 Things we can do is mentioned below;

Now, what you need to do when competitors attack you with all their powerful weapons?

Tactics that we use when competitors attack us:

*always to be ready in advance about possible attacks.

Before everything else that we can do, we need to be aware in every moment we can be attacked by our competitors. Sometimes, the attacks will be invisible, but sometimes they can be really significant. Sometimes they can be announced from our competitors, but sometimes they can be unannounced. Because of that, we need a really intelligent system to understand the behaviour of our competitor.

.

*We need to answer to their attacks with proper changes in our company.

Sometimes, we think that they attack us because they want to hurt us, but in many cases, if their attacks are legitimate, it is the best sign that we need to make some improvements in our own work before we start with the counterattack. If they attack us on our products and services, then improve our products and services. If they attack us on our business processes then start working on the improvement of our business processes.

Our best answer to them in such a situation is to improve our business, to become better from the competitors that attack us.

* We need to make a counterattack when competitors attack us.

The third thing is about counter-attacking. When you are attacked, one of the tactics that your small business can use is to start counterattack with which WE want to defend our business and go into the new wins for our small business. Again, this counterattack also brings US another important improvement in our business.

* WE need to be VERY close to our customers.

Because, when competitors attack US, they simply want to cut our impact and our value in the eyes of our customers, we need to handle a very close relationship with our current and potential customers.

* We need to expand our market.

And yes, as the last thing we do is start thinking about expanding our market and add additional value to our current achievements that mean growing and improving our business ideas. There will always be additional possibilities outside our current market. For example, if our small business runs locally, why we don’t think to expand it nationally, or if it runs nationally why not to run regionally, or if it runs regionally why not to run globally.

Summary:

Always Keep our opponents off balance don't rely on the same approaches all of the time. Instead, always attack them unexpectedly. This always help us to win in our current battle and also help our group avoid stagnation. If our opponent is planning to attack us then instantly make changes in our current products and counter attack them.
