Expert Solution

The first scene is the opening one where Beane meets with the owner Stephen Schott and asks for more money to hire better players but Schott refuses which teaches the employees that organisation too puts budget constraints and we have to give our best within that.

The second was the team resistance where none of the scouts want to switch from old methods of scouting to making decisions based on data and numbers and Beane uses his skills of persuasion. Which highlights that the resources were not used properly

Third was mid-manager resistance where they believed where manager play only those players whom he prefers and not what the entire team thinks,

The fourth resistance from the players was that they were not taking the game and the part seriously. and same happens with employees when they are asked to change, they do not take it seriously and Billy Beane reacts angrily on the players which is not always good however it may act favorably in some situation if channelized properly.

The movie plays and the Oakland A's win 20 straight games which can happen with startups if these obstacles and resistance is handled in a better way .
