-Propotionality:
It provides intercollegiate or interscholastic participation opportunities for women and men at rates that are propotionate to their respective rates of enrollment .Meeting test one means that participation opportunities are propotionate to full time undergraduate enrollment.If women are 52 percent of the full time undergraduate students,then 52 percent of the intercollegiate athletics participants must be women.The most challenging part of the test is to determine who to count as participants
-History of continuing progress:
It includes continued program expansion for underrepresented sex.They show that opportunities have been added for the underrepresented sex as their interest and abilities have developed or evolved.In some cases program expansion also mean adding opportunities to existing teams ,but only if those are real opportunities where athletes are getting coached or practiced not for the name sake
-Accomodating interests:
They fully accomodate the underrepresented sex by offering every team for which there is sufficient interest and ability for a viable team.They also encourage sufficient competition in the geographic areas where the institutuion normally competes
