Hello!

In monitor or mobile screen or on any other LED display the colors uses RGB(RED GREEN BLUE) model, where these 3 colors overlap at different intensity and gives some other color.

Why we use CMYK is that Most of the light colors will be given by CMY easily and with help of CMYK we can get different shades of black than when we use RGB to produce different black shades.

In monitors or any other displays it gives all the light colors as that the screen is darker, so problem in giving light colors.

But while printing using RGB there will be more dark color as adding colors individually will not give the light colors the obtained colors will be in dark so its not that easy to produce the light colors on the printing materials.

As CMYK is already light colors it can produce light colors easily.

Each color of CMYK reduces its intensity or brightness inorder to give light colors, when we need black it mikes all the CMY colors, its all about Subtracting colors

So printers automatically conerts RGB to CMYK and then starts printing the give file or design.

And finally RGB is the best for digital and the CMYK(Cyan Magneta Yello Key) is best for printing.

Hope this helps and clear.
