To deliver any project with best quality the company invest a lot. There should be proper planning, documenting and understanding the requirements of the project are very important. Because based on these things a project can be delivered successfully.

Especially an IT project need more and more things that needs to be analysed and understood through project analysis. Client, stakeholders and finally customer needs should be thoroughly analysed. Should able to derive the input and output of the project.

There are many criteria’s that are involved to define an IT project success. Right from initiating a project to developing and delivering there are so many process and people are involved. Each one contribution and coordination to the project is very important for any project success. Let’s discuss the success criteria for the IT projects:

IT project success often so difficult to assess:

Assessing project success so difficult because of the toughness in IT projects even the regular changes and risks that are faces during the process. The cost requirement and change in target timeline and other difficulties are:

· Failed to identify the requirements of the project

· The input and output may vary based on the projects needs

· The final requirements may change as per the customer, stakeholders and client perspective

Based on that a proper documentation that contains all the information related to planning, initiation and delivering can be mentioned.

Instead of holding any project identify the important factors in the project and scope of the project at the same time need. All parameters need to be considered and initiate the project that takes less time to complete.
