It is claimed that Christianity has agape love, which is selfless and other-regarding, while the Greeks have only eros and philia, which are selfish and self-regarding. Agape is highest and special form of love. It remains mixed with several emotions like charity, morality, humanity, kindness and sympathy. It is a feeling through which a person becomes inspired to serve the society.
It motivates people to work in the direction of betterment of humankind. It involves a sense of dedication for up-lifting lives of others. Bible says that God loves all humans. That love is unconditional.
It is a selfless love. According to Bible, Jesus says that Love is something which remains far away from irritation. Unconditional love does not find any kind of rejoice in performing any kind of wrong actions. Jesus says that there is a deep relation between truth and love.
God says that love is long lasting and it never ends. It exists everywhere. It remains in existence every time. It remains related with all the living and non living aspects of this world. Hope is the best ingredient of such unconditional love.
When we perform any action without the emotion of selflessness then it is considered as the purest form of love.
