what intuitively occurs to us about the legal environment of doing international business vis-a-vis our supply chain notions?
The supply chain is the entire process from accepting an order from a consumer until the product reaching the consumer. The various legal aspects have been enforced to make the process smooth and efficient. Mainly the business law is the one that deals with international business. These laws have been enforced to prevent the concentration of power and wealth among fewer participants of the procedure. These may vary from country to country. The flexibility in these will affect the supply chain. In some countries the laws are formulated on the basis of religious teachings and on some other, these are completely democratically chosen. Thus it is very important for international businessmen to stick on to these laws. The supply chain is greatly influenced by this as its various processes: transportation, marketing, advertising, manufacturing, assembling, etc have to be carefully based on the laws imposed by the country. Thus, legal interference in international business is very important as it ensures the fair working of the whole procedures.
