how to create a schedule to balance work ,school and family

Solutions

Expert Solution

The different ways in which a schedule can be created to balance work ,school and family are as follows:

  1. One needs to get regularized in their functioning from the beginning itself. Firstly one should familiarize themselves with the educational arena i.e the campuses and then meet up with the enrollment counselor.
  2. Once the course has commenced the next step is to print out the syllabus and the semester schedule . A clear noting of the dates on which the assignments need to be submitted and the tests would be held. These are required so that you can prepare well and specially if one has kids all schedules would have to be worked around these schedules. If there are family activities that all consume time and that will have to be adjusted in such a manner so that the entire family is one the same page at that time. Each course has its own detailing in terms of the expectations from us and therefore a careful study of that has to be made in order to succeed.
  3. Writing down the objectives ,goals and dreams is an excellent way of achieving them as it keeps us on our path and all the scheduling and the home work and study all end up contributing to the achievement of the goals.
  4. Involving the family in the goals and education is essential in order to balance the family and the education. This can be done by making the children do their homework at the time when we are completing our assignments. This helps in spending time with the children as well as monitoring the children.
  5. Taking time out for self is an extremely important and essential thing as it helps us relax and rejuvenate ourselves and that in turn aids in achievement of the goals.
