Describe the financial crisis of the 2000s. In your opinion, is a similar crisis possible in the near future?
Financial crisis of the 2000s are:-
Year 2000: Bursting of the Technology
The Internet was in craze at that time. Business entreprnures saw potential in online business. In any case, online business was truly in its early stages. Everybody was discussing "another economy" which alluded to an Internet-driven economy. The majority of the dot.com stocks, as Yahoo.com, were recorded on the NASDAQ. In January 2000, the NASDAQ shut over 5000. The NASDAQ was exchanging around 2100 ten years after the fact.
Investors were getting rich off unrewarding stocks with significant expenses and more significant expense/profit proportions — firms like software organizations and everything such as PC and Internet. In April 2000, an expansion report made the theoretical air pocket burst and there were colossal investment losses.
Year 2002: Stock Market Crash
After the terrorist attack of 9/11, it gave catastrophic financial loss for the U.S, the stock market energized but began to go down again in March 2002. The market arrived at lows unheard of since 1997 and 1998 by July and September of 2002. The corporate fraud scandals and embarrasments, such as Enron- a leading company involved in fraud scandal gone bankrupt, alongside 9/11, were supporters to this loss of investor trust in the stock market.
In my opinion, these type of crisis are possible in future as well.
