Any information that cannot be quantified is called as qualitative information.
There are many qualitative information that are useful for an airlines, these information will help to increase the satisfaction of customer and in turn the revenue of the airlines will ultimately increase.
This is often seen that the qualitative information is difficult to collect because this information varies from one region to another. Suppose if one geographical location the people vote for tea and in another geographical location people voted for coffees so this information about the choice of beverages varies. Since this is qualitative information.
Below are some of the examples of qualitative information that will help the management of Singapore airlines.
The level of comfort the passengers are having in the airlines will help the management to make the required changes. If the passengers are not having comfort as expected than the management will make sure that this is corrected since the passengers are the main source of revenue for any airlines.
The internal survey from the employees about what they feel about the company culture is also an important factor that management see in making any decision. This is because if the employees of company are motivated and satisfied then they will give best value to the airlines.
This is important for the management to see the peak months so that they can formulate there pricing policy accordingly.
