People are the products of their environment such as, parenting, family friends, education, culture, religion etc. This would mean that children would be in the school most of their time and would have the opportunity of interacting with their friends. They normally join with those who share the same beliefs, values and practices while some would join others based on their interests. This would mean that they would have the opportunity to observe, imitate and internalize certain behaviours and attitudes from their friends. There are also instances in which children would be forced by their friends to behave in a certain way which would influence their thoughts, feelings and behaviours thus, affecting their personality to a great extent. Besides, they would also have the opportunity to engage in many other activities apart from the school that would greatly impact their personality as they would mostly give in to the demand of their own groups in order to be accepted.
