How might spirituality be related to providing patient-centered care?
One of the ethical and legal issue that arise in the field of the healthcare is the ethical protection of thhe private patient information in the same field. The issue of how the conversations between a physician and patient should be remained confidential and maintained the same is to be taken care of the medical condition.
The ethical principle of the Beneficence talks about how the nurse's actions should be able to promote goodness and better for the people and patience. Doing good and thinking good is what the best that could be done for the patient.
With the issue discussed earlier about the invasion of privacy and how the confidentiality should be remained true, this ethical principle of Beneficence is seen to be exploited. The goodness of the people and patients is exploited as the confedentiality is not remained between the patients and the doctors of the healthcare systems. Doctors often leak the same information to other people and patients which doesn't grant a good for the patients.
Spirituality and the love and the feeling of the religion is important as people are tend to be safer and better by feeling a higher power and God. Spirituality would help the patients to cope up and get better with the medical decisions, stress and how their quality of life could be improved to make sure they feel calm and composed with their health and systems.
