Decision making is of several types as random, intuition and analytical. Decision can be categorized as a programmed decision or an unprogrammed decision depending upon the prevalent scenarios and factors which influence the development of major decisions in life. When decision involves a greater risk and chance of deceive and dupe then it is called as a unprogrammed decision and manager can stop the decision and prevent the extension of such scenarios in life. Programmed decision depend upon the demand of the product in the market with necessity to create an order inventory for the successful implementation of products and projects in the market. It depends upon whether there is a need to re-order a product with improvements in lauching and manufacturing the products again according to the need of the market. It is used for model building and manufacturing of products in the market with rules and regulation in the market. Appropriate designing of the products should be analyzed in detail. It includes criteria of taking decisions, weight of evaluation, type and value of criterior used in making decisions in life. There is a trade-off between evaulation of design and environmental factors for designing a product with its effect on the environment. The example of programmed decision in life includes the design of mechanical compiler designer by Boettner and Ward with use of interval calculus and algebraic variables for the analysis of problems in machine language learning. It includes the analysis of design time in manufacturing a product like 0-15%, 15-40% and 40-80% of design time for analysis and evaluation of problems.Confidence weight objective method with analysis of variables and limits is done for analyzing the effectiveness of the product launched along with its model. It also includes limiting the needs and demands of workers with providing work holidays and tour holidays with payment in the form of incentives for good work that a worker has performed in the company.

Non-programmed decisions are for a short period of time and change according to situations in life as they can involve risk for longer durations of time like experimenting by buying a new phone model with unknown configurations which are not known to the person who is buying with spending money. They involve a complex development of situations in life which are not frequently encountered in life and can be implemented for a short duration of time. It is an ill-structured decision which of various types like personal, strategic, crisis-decisions and problem solving decisions which take a great deal of time and can take place in complex situations in life. These decisions are made of sujective decisions, personal accomplishments, innovativeness and creativity in life. They are based on trial and common sense in life with ability to solve problems in life in different complex situations depending upon creativity in life. They expand business and require a lot of protential to implement and fulfil goals and ambitions. There is a high degree of judgement and analysis in executing the complex problems in life.
