Solutions

Expert Solution

St Augustine says that evil itself has no existent . Evil and God cannot coexist together and it cannot be present within god and also it cannot be created by god . He says that evil is formed as a byproduct of God's creativity .Evil according to him is a type of privation and leads to corruption .Evil does not have any kind of positive nature associated to it but it is a result of loss of good to it .According to him there are two types of evil

  • Natural
  • Moral

These both kinds of evil take place when an individual uses his or her free will in an evil way .Augustine says that free will is an important part of human life and als humans are not perfect and they can perform evil acts by getting corrupted .

In order to get greed from Evil there is only one way . Augustine solved it by saying that the physical hell is a type of secondary punishments can be only avoided by accepting grace of Jesus christ .It helps the individuals to get free form the original sin which was committed by Adam and Eve .But it is only done when individuals are ready to receive the grace of God and it is dependent on their personal choice or we can say free will
