Online learning
Online learning is an E-learning in which there is no need for physical classrooms. Students can enroll themself into a particular course which they want to learn.
Differences between conventional learning and online learning:
1. Time management:
In Conventional learning students does not able to manage the time according to the want. Because they have to attend the classes and there is a minimum attendance requirement.
Whereas, in online learning, students can take the class whenever they want. This provides students to manage their time according to the schedule.
2. Participation:
In Conventional learning, students feel shy to participate in classroom activities or they feel other students make fun of them so they don't participate.
In Conventional learning, courses are made in such a way where there is participation is required and also they take the course according to their interest. which leads them to participate in the activities
3. Student and Teacher Relationships:
In Conventional learning, there is the physical presence of the Student and Teacher. which leads to sharing the emotions between them.
But in online learning physical present is absent which results in the lack of interaction, emotional support, with students.
4. Assignments and Tests
In Conventional learning, there will be written assignments, oral presentations, the class text.
Whereas online learning lacks all these which is present in Conventional learning. but in online learning, there is a self-designed test by the online instructor which is more natural and attractive. so student finds these more attractive them Conventional learning tests.
5. Overall Results and Preferences
The overall result is dependent on the students only. both are good in their aspects. Some students who are introverted find online learning more suitable. on the other hand, students who enjoy interactive sessions will go with traditional learning.
If the student wants to become something he/she will take any learning seriously.
