Tuition is an ancient method to provide direct and continuous help to those who need it, the concept of tuition came from our ideological perspectives but gradually the method and area of tuition have been changed and it became an integral part of formal education. The modern education system considers tuition as an essential part of the teaching and learning process. The role of the tuition teacher is to help students to complete their difficult work but when a tuition teacher becomes a primary supporter, the student develops a dependency on him/her and it changes the primary role of the tuition teacher.

In my opinion, helping weak students is an essential job but develop a dependency on the tuition teacher affects learning negatively, tuition is a good thing but not for all and it should not be a substitute for self-learning. A good tuition teacher should be aware of primary role and engagement with the students because if the student relies on the teacher more than themself, it would not be good for his/her future perspectives.

The main objective of tuition is to help if the tuition teacher helps with the constructive approach it would be very effective for students and learners but if the teacher develops a learner’s dependency on self, it would affect the learning process as well as the future of the student.
