“Managing Configuration and Data for Effective Project
Management.” The process protocol model consists of thirteen (13)
steps from Inception to Feedback.
Chapter 4 of the PMI Practice Standard for Project Configuration
Management (2007) describes a basic process for managing the
“fundamental project constraints of scope, time, cost, and quality”
(p.15). Comment on the similarities and differences between this
basic process and the project change management process used in
your organization. Is project change management effective in your
organization? How can it be improved?
This week you have researched configuration management tools. As
a project manager, what configuration management tool would you
recommend using, and why?
* How does the MEAT model compare with the process
model, Which is more effective and why?
example
The M.E.A.T method stands for Mitigate , Eliminate , Accept, and
Transfer Risk. Our book list four ways to respond to risk which are
classified as mitigating, avoiding, transferring, or retaining.
This is very similar to the MEAT method. Both methods are designed
for you to take the safest risk. I think they better method depends
on the person.
-Suggest the most appropriate software process model that might
be used as a basis for managing the development of the following
systems:
- A system to control anti-lock braking in a car
- A virtual reality system to support software maintenance
- A university accounting system that replaces an existing
system
In business, risk management is define as the process of
identifying, monitoring and managing potential risks in order to
minimize the negative impact they may have on an organization.
Illustrate the FOUR (4) important steps for risk management in
chart.
1. Project management has proven as an effective tool that
enables a quality management system to be developed and implemented
successfully in modern organizations.
2. Define Six Sigma. List and define briefly the
tools/techniques that might be used with DMAIC steps. What are the
factors underlying the development and implementations of Six Sigma
of today's organization? .
Database design is the process of producing a detailed data
model of database. This data model contains all the needed logical
and physical design choices and physical storage parameters needed
to generate a design in a data definition language, which can then
be used to create a database. (Wikipedia).
Using a diagram/chart software, elaborate a database
design
Requirements:
Define your database objective
Explain your database's type of table relationship
Explain and design your database elements and datatypes
(tables, fields, etc,)....
1. Discuss and explain the fundamental concepts of project
management and the tasks required in managing a project.
2. Outline the project process and evaluate projects, preparing
and analysing project budgets.
3. Identify and apply project management tools in scheduling;
understand and plan basic resource allocation.
4. Be able to report on a project’s progress; design and prepare
closure evaluation and reports.
Please can someone help me with this. Thank you very much
