[Q] Using examples from published news sources to illustrate your answer, discuss the organizational design challenges in keeping employees connected in virtual organization settings. [200 words minimum 250 max]

A considerable lot of the present organizations are finding that conventional hierarchical organizational designs are not proper for their undeniably powerful business conditions. The present managers face the significant challenge of keeping their workers associated with the virtual organization settings since these workers are regularly arranged in broadly scattered areas and are continually moving. Illustrated examples are:

[a.] Differentiation in Delaying Productivity Concerns: One of the greatest worries managers of virtual workers report is observing their workers’ productivity, however virtual workers themselves overwhelmingly feel progressively productive on some random day. This distinction is an upsetting one, and it addresses a misconception among the virtual workers and managers. As with a virtual worker can't truly observe, managers may pointlessly want to micromanage their immediate reports, which can, in reality, moderate work down and make pressure.

[b.] Not Keeping Flexible Lines of Communication Open: Ask any fruitful manager about the most significant factor in driving the development and advancement of their immediate reports, and they will probably concur that it is conveying constructive feedback. It's frequently accepted that virtual workers feel "out of the picture and therefore irrelevant" to their colleagues and teams. In any case, actually, in a survey, it is discovered that managers don't give about a similar measure of feedback to coordinate reports who work virtually as they do to the individuals who work in-office: 75 percent of supervisors told that they offer feedback at any rate once every week to in-office workers, while 73 percent don't do likewise for virtual employees.
