What do you feel are the three (3) biggest issues facing families who are faced with the challenge of balancing work and family demands? Suppose you were asked to offer communication strategies for parents who are managing these issues -- what advice would you provide? How can organizations assist working parents in managing the challenges associated with work-family life balance? Research the Internet for "Family-Friendly Workplaces" and discuss recommendations you would offer to organizations to assist families in managing these multiple demands. The increased number of women entering the workplace has caused lots of issues in balancing their personal and professional life. It’s really good that more women entering the workplace to support the family and prove their worth in the society. They face a lot of problem in managing both family and job.
One of the most important issues that they face is working in a company and working at home such as cooking, cleaning etc. This makes them do a double shift everyday which makes them physically very tired. The second issue that they face is spending time with their kids, especially with the new born babies until they go to school. This is one of the worst problems to any new mom. The third issue is that they see their intimacy with their partners is missing. The time available for them to spice-up their life with their partners.
The family friendly work environment that’s coming up today is very encouraging and the employers and big companies have started rethinking about making few facilities available for their employees such as space for the kids, more maternity and paternity leaves, more benefits etc.
