What ethical implications that may be present in the client’s presentation and what is a larger ethical implications of medical treatment of ADHD by the mental health professional
"Ethics" refers to the correct rules of conduct and "implication" refer to a consequence or result of an action. Thus, ethical implication means to make the correct decision of action. Ethics are important because it creates trust and mutual respect among the people. Positive ethics help to achieve the higher ethical standards of the profession.
The following are the ethical implications that may be present in the client's presentation are:
1). To get the job completed on time and get job satisfaction.
2). To meet their expectations positively.
3). The client wants to be treated fairly and pay a reasonable price.
4). Authenticity and reliability are two important factors for the client's presentation.
5). Good communication and feedback are also important.
Ethical implications of medical treatment of ADHD by the mental health professional are working for the goodwill and interests of the patients. Ethical medical practice is being followed by four principles:
1). Respect for Autonomy - It refers to the issues of competence and professional information.
2). Beneficence - It means to prevent harm and do good actions.
3). Non-maleficence - It means to avoid harming others.
4). Justice - It refers to the idea that everyone should be treated equally.
