Expert Solution

The different ways in which Presocratics wrestled with and attempted to explain the problem of change are-

• firstly it is important to know the origin of different types of things, many are in solid forms or all liquid, some in gases and even humans are the mixture of many forms. This existence of different types of materials had led to the question of existence and their existence stands out the question of their change as well. Any living or nonliving thing that is present shows growth in different forms. Like a sand dune is formed during a heavy sand storm while it is being destroyed during heavy windflow. This change might have some reason for its occurrence. Presocratics highlights the fact that same kind of things have originated from same source and they share same degree of formation and disintegration.

•change was also explained on the basis of external factors like environment, existence strategies, formation of different components etc. Change can be evaluated on the basis that Earth which is nothing but an empty sphere ,first thing formed by presence of gods that they believe in. Religious belief was very strong at that time so changed is somehow connected with the the initial existence and formation of the earth. They also try to you contemplate the mode of change with someone empowering these things from above. Change is possible because there was continuous need of evolving , forming something new as the synthesis is only begun and more various things were going to be formed.
