Solutions

Expert Solution

1. Nature of attitudes- Basically all kinds of attitudes are general and pervasive. Which amongst the four types of attitudes is the most general and pervasive will truely be a debatable question. Yet, with some sort of reasoning, there can be a fruitful attempt of arriving at a certain conclusion.

2. Considering object appraisal, ego defensive, value expressive and social adjustive functions, with the help of observational research around and through the secondary data sources, it will surely reflect that the value expressive function is thw most genaral and pervasive, especially in current times.

Value expressive function allows the individual to express his or her self concept. It is represented by attitudes that demonstrate one's self image to others. In current times, this stands truth. Through consumerism and choice and use of numerous products, services and brands, human beings express their own self concepts in very obvious ways.

As we try to define life, we believe that O2, which is so pervasive in the environment, is fundamentally necessary to sustain life.  Clostridium & Streptococcus are both catalase-negative bacteria, but only Streptococcus grows by fermentation. Why then is Clostridium killed by O2, whereas Streptococcus is not?
