Every community has some festivals and all the festivals have good aspects. But with the opportunists some bad and intentional issues are related there. It is the matter of mixed customs. Some appear to have some profits from the festivals and some enjoy it whole-heartedly. But in the festival all types of people of the community attend and enjoy it. It refreshes their daily boredom and the feeling of monotonousness.

Once I attended the great festival of Bengali Durgapuja. All types of people enjoy this and it is the national festival of Bengali people. Now it is not only confined in Bengali, it even appears in the other communities. In the festival it appears that the political leaders try to use it as the means of their canvassing in election. Their greed is reflected there. Many lovers appears in lusty dress and fulfill their carnal desires. Again, the angry young men appear in drunken condition and even they use abusive words. They eat much and drink much and everywhere there appears gluttony.

But the festival also works as means of communal harmony. All types of people eat together. They chat and spend the days of festival with pure enjoyment. It also causes cultural harmony.
