Anti dumping measures as an instrument of fair competition which permitted by WTO. If gave relief measures to domestic industry against the injury caused by dumping. The major anti-dumping measures are;
Measures imposed on imports; otherwise this will cause injury to the domestic industry in the territory of importing members.
Tariff duties helped to stop dumping. The importing country imposed tariff on dumped commodity. If the price of importing commodity increases end the fear over dumping. But the necessary condition is that rate of duty on imports must be equal to the difference between domestic price and the price of dumped commodity.
Import quota will help to stop the dumping under where the specific volume or value allowed importing to the country. This includes imposition of duty with fixing quota.
The import embargo will ban the import of particular goods or all goods from a country.
The voluntary export restraint use to realise the negative effects and voluntarily effect of bilateral agreement by the exporting countries.
