QUES1. Explain the context of the chosen workplace?
ANS-> Context involves nonverbal communication such as gestures, body language, facial expressions, and elements such as tone of voice. And as here we are talking about the workplace so one should be patient, show etiquettes and respect towards their seniors this will definitely work in favour of that person's good will in the corporate world.
QUES2. Explain the ambiguous scenario you selected and clarify the source of ambiguity?
ANS->Suppose being a senior developer you are interviewing someone, who is your friend ( he is financially weak, who really needs the job) but not the deserving one for that position. So when you come to ethics and humanity you should select that person by fulfilling your responsibility both as a human and a friend but being a professional guy, It should be clear NO because this will not be good for you as well as him. In future it will definitely hurt both of your personal and professional relationships only because of that one decision, because being an unfit person for that job he will not be able to make a pace with that race .
QUES3. Analyse the given scenario in the light of the ethical and professional responsibility of IT professionals and the relevant codes of conduct and professional practice. Point to any moral or professional dilemmas or questions that may rise in this situation.
ANS->According to code of conduct or moral point of view one should help the needy but being a professional guy you are running a business not a charity.
But again, this depend on the scenario as in the last one there should be a NO, reason being once we help him giving him the job but he will definitely not be able to do it properly in future. So ask him to leave after a year is better to let him know that he is not perfect for this type of job. In this scenario one should pay off more to his professional image than an ethical one.
But consider an another case, where your boss is not fare enough with your colleagues so at that point of time you should take a stand and react to it. At that point of time you should not be selfish enough and not be lawyer of your boss as because you are not one of the victims, here this is the time to show your morals and ethics as a person not as a professional one, because one always have ethics towards their personal and professional life here we have to prioritize.
QUES4. Discuss the available decisions or choices, and analyse them from ethical and professional viewpoints. -Advise on the best course of action, choice or conclusion for this scenario, and justify it.
ANS->Again I will say all this depends upon the type of situation it is. Always be honest enough with your work but along with that honest enough with yourself as well, so that you never feel guilt on your selfish decisions that you took in the past for just a sake of profit at that point of time.
When your boss ask to lie the client just for sake of Professional honesty to your boss can you pit against your personal honesty. So balance both as much as you can because most of the times both will contradict so you are the only one who have to decide what to do next.
