When setting the ethics level for your company, which factors were most important in your decision about which ethics level to choose? Which groups of people were likely to be affected by your decision? (Based on the Institute of Management Accountants’ Statement of Ethical Professional Practice)
While deciding the ethics level for our company we first need to understand the goals and objectives of the company . The culture and work structure of the company also plays an important role as culture of the company tells whether we need a moralistic ethics level or normative ethics level or applied level of ethics. This also depends on how the company and it's employees react to what is right and wrong . The nature of work, place it is situated in and various economic and social conditions also play an important role in deciding the ethics level of our company. The employees of the company are mostly effected by this decision because the ethics levels determines the nature of work and the atmosphere of the company and it's management . Hence they are the people most effected .
