Explain the attraction of gaming entertainment to the destination of a tourist?

Nowadays gaming has become one of the main attractions for tourists to visit a place. There are certain places or destinations where tourists specially visit that place for accessing gaming facilities. These places also provide other facilities like multicuisine food, beverages, shopping areas, child play areas, spa, e.t.c. The gaming entertainment also attracts the tourist to make some money as well. this experience is different from visiting any other tourist place. It induces a competitive spirit among the tourists and they become quite excited while playing the games.

How are hotel operations in a gaming entertainment business different from hotel operations in a nongaming environment?

The gaming hotels are quite different from the nongaming hotels in a way, that they perform the hotel operations on a very large scale than the nongaming hotels. In the nongaming hotel, the operations are generally restaurant, housekeeping, spas or boutiques e.t.c. But in gaming hotels, there are huge floors of gaming that need to be properly maintained apart from the regular hotel activities which are performed by nongaming hotels. The gaming hotels need very large infrastructure and manpower to manage its operation compare to nongaming hotels.

List the duties of CVBs.

A convention and visitors bureau (CVBs) are set up for the facility of the tourists to have information and assistance of the desired locations. ie. the places where the tourists wanted to visit. The CVBs provide information about the following things-

Hotel bookings/ reservations

Transport

Information about tourist places

Fastfood joints, cafeteria, restaurant

Other facilities like money transfers, medical help, or e.t.c.

Ways to visit a location ie. distance, transport, time to get to that place.

Describe the main types of meeting setups.

The main types of meeting setups are as follows-

Dais Based- It is a large room with a dais to stand and to address a large audience at one time. The presenter stands on the dies to address a large audience.

Notes Based- This is a type of setup in which the audiences write notes about the meeting. It is comparatively a small room and audiences as compared to the dais based.

Table based- The meeting takes place in a closed room with people sitting around the table.
