What are three concepts that Barbor offers?(Finding Real Love How to overcome alienation and get closer)
Cary Barbor’s article finding real love is somewhat of a self-help article about intimacy. The first subject talked about in the article is on the first decision we make about a relationship, which is the partner we choose. Human being craves intimacy to love and be loved. It is difficult for many of us to create and maintain intimacy with others. The Barbor described three main concepts that can be helpful to find real love and maintain a strong and long-term relationship.
1-The first decision we make about a relationship is the partner we choose. Whom we fall in love with determines the level of intimacy in our relationships.
2- The second thing is the trust which is necessary to create strong bonding between two people, if a person does not show trust in another person, it can destroy the relationship.
3- The third concept to develop a strong relationship is “Voice”. All people tend to carry on some form of internal dialogue within themselves as though another person were talking to them. In the intimate relationship, both individuals may be listening to the dictates of their respective voice. This situation creates strong intimate bonding which is very important to develop a good and strong relationship.
In my opinion, the relationship stands on some basic conditions which are most important to create good bonding and mature relationships.
