INTRODUCTION

Corona is a virus disease which is an ongoing pandemic disease all over the world.disease was first reported in Wuhan,china in december 2019.after the three month of its outbreak,WHO recognized this as pandemic .Main reason for its outbreak is due to globalisation of countries .this disease mainly affects the respiratory system.Source of this disease is bats.it spreads through close contact,droplets from sneezing.it leds to disruption of day today life activites,religious customs,transportation etc

1.ROLE AND SIGNIFICANCE

Transportation become easier due to globalisation.it made cruial role in spreading the disease to this extent in notime.disaese which has started in one city has spread to this level .so the first thing all goverments in every country has stopped the private transportation facitilities and announced as curfew.this played a significant role in controlling the extended of spreading of patients in one corner to another .

2.TRANSPORTATION POLICIES IN COUNTRIES

World health organisation recommened regardig transportation policies.travel ban and stoppage of passengers from affected got prevented.public and private transport system got stopped.All the countries are following this measues strictly.Temperature screeing is done at railway stations,airports,bus terminals etc.Infected indiviuals are isolated immediately from this screeing centres and send to isolation centres.to avoid scarcity of food products,grocery items tranportation not banned fully.indiviual transportation is fully banned .

IN USA :It is been regulated by different authories NTSB,NHTSA,FMCSAOffice of rail road safety.in california ,people are not allowed for the use of public transport facilities and people are told to work from home.

IN SAUDI:Domestic transportaion got suspended for 14 days.for medical purpose,flights buses can be used only with special permission.internation transportation got stopped.parks.hotels ,malls got suspended.government put lock down for most sectors

IN CHINA:China is the place where ,this disease got started.road transport industry played cruial role in providing necessory medicines ,protective items ,mask,gloves ,food items..

3.PROS AND CONS

Transportation played both both roles in covid 19 situation.in china it played a major rolr in sustaing the economy of the country during this deadly situation.people didnt faced a situation where people got panic.transportation authorities and goverment balanced the condition.but in this same situation goverment stopped the transportation for common man.it really affected their own job and economy of country after all.it made a good role in preventing the extend to this level.

Controlled transportation helped in spreading of disesase

CONCLUSION

Transportaion of emergency requirments helped the life of medical staff,doctors and related members.controlled way of transport helped normal indiviual to avoid close contact with infected person.by this way we can control the pandemic situation in control.
