Comparative Analysis Paper: "Culture vs Culture" Research, compare and contrast various cultures in relationship to placing family members in assisted living, skilled nursing facilities, and long term care facilities: Why do they place them in facilities? What would be the common age group entering one of these facilities? If they are not in a facility, what other methods or resources are families using to provide care for their loved ones. Who is financially responsible?
Why do place them in facilities?
Ans) because ,if anyone looking at care options for loved one or elderly care now a days number of options available for senior care services or other conditions.it includes: skilled nursing facilities,assisted living facilities,long term care facilities.
Skilled nursing facilities (SNF):
Physicians often recommend skilled nursing facilities or rehabilitation care following surgery or a stay in the hospital for a medical condition.the various therapies ,such as occupational,speech, or physical therapy help patients regain the strength or skills they need to able to return home.
Other reasons for admission to an skilled nursing facilities: intravenous medication administration,wound care,nutritional management,respiratory treatment or therapy.
2)ans)long term care facilities:most but not all persons in need of ling term care are elderly.appoximately 63% are persons aged 65 and older .the remaining 37% are 64 years of age and younger.those are having disabilities at any age people also enter in this facilities.
3)ans)assisted living is often less expensive than home health or nursing homes care in the same geographical area.
More seniors are purchasing long term care insurance to help finance their long term care needs.those with low income may to need use Medicaid to pay for senior care.
Government health insurance for people age 65and older.

Family caregiver support programs: a federally supported program,provides services to help ease the financial burden of caregiving to a person 60 years and older.
