welcome and introduction question for the interview of
nurses
In an interview for nurses the questions can be devided into three parts generally.
Based on personal data
Based on attitude and aptitude
Based on knowledge and experience.
Based on personal data
The interviewer shall give the aspirant time to speak about himself or herself, regarding their personal details. After cross checking the data given with certificates interviewer can proceed to the second category of questions
Based on aptitude and attitude
Example questions are
Why have you chosen nursing as a career?
What is rewarding about this job?
How will you deal with some one who is not satisfied of your care?
What do you reckon as your greatest skill is?
How will you tackle stress of this job?
Are you comfortable in working with other nurses and doctors?
What is the most hardest part of this profession?
Why do you want to work here? And why have you left your previous job?
Do you feel yourself as a team player?
Once the interviewer finishes this part he or she can ask subject knowledge questions based on the candidates qualification and experience and the position the interview board is looking for.
Example if the interview board is looking for nurse in ER.
Ask them questions like
Immediate management of cardiac arrest?
Fracture immobilization
Or Ionotropic drug dosage and dilution etc.
