What is paralanguage?

• It is area of non verbal communication that gives special importance to the body language and voice nuances in order to express the human feeling and thoughts
• This language used multiple times in a day without knowledge of human.
• Sometimes even body language speaks as much as the spoken words.
• Good communicator will have the ability to determine how their paralanguage effects others, and how it will gain others trust and improve their own confidence.
• Paralanguage includes- eye contact, posture,hand gesture, voice tone, volume and tempo of the language.
• Metacommuinication - ability of the person to adjust their non verbal language based on the situation in order to maintain the good communication and avoid troublesome iteration.
