3. The average yield of strain A in the bioreactor was 0.905 as a result of 20 measurements, and the average yield of strain B under the same conditions was 0.882 after 15 measurements. Standard deviations of these measurements were calculated as 0.012 for strain A and 0.015 for strain B. What assumptions are needed to build a confidence interval of 99% significance for the difference of the average yields of these two strains (uA-Ha). How can this assumption be decided? Explain. (You don't need to build the confidence interval(construct), you need to explain which formula to use and, more importantly, WHY that formula should use)
