The topic which is selected here is the prevalence of CVD or Cardio vascular disorders in the middle adulthood. Survey and research analysis shows that the number is hitting to an incredibly high level during this period. The primary risk factors associated can be broadly classified into 4 such as the smoking habit, increased cholesterol level in arteries causing blockage, diabetes mellitus type 2 being a silent killer and high blood pressure. Intervention is always associated with a change in lifestyle pattern in the middle adult hood. Sedentary lifestyle must be replaced by aerobic exercise and yoga. Food habit which primarily includes high salt diet, junk foods must be replaced by healthy ones and those where fiber content is more.
Health is directly associated with relationship happiness and satisfaction. When a person has poor physical or mental health it is seen to directly affect the relationship which that person holds around him. The inability to perform daily tasks due to illness creates a burden for those who are living with the patient as they have to look after themselves and the patient. Secondly, illness will suppress all hormones which are responsible for joy and therefore one will never be satisfied with the course of his life due to illness. For instance, a person having CVD will always have to be cautious about his diet and exercise. This is because any minor carelessness might lead to a heart attack which can lead to sudden death or paralysis. Overall the life of such people would be stressful as compared to those having no illness.
