Case Study You are an Assistant involved in performing research on a drug called Yerinz for the factious disease Manzilob. Recently you have found a very interesting component called Lucia that when treated by a drug Yerinz, it kills the bacteria causing Manzilob, that the drug is designed to cure. You have been wondering if this drug Yerinz could be an antidote for the disease? The drug fully tested must be delivered 13 weeks. You must obtain a grant (i.e. $s) to fully fund your lab for five years that will be required to support the production of the drug over time. Your goal is to prepare yourself and deliver a finalized scope, a risk management plan, and a successful project plan. You first need to define the scope of the work you would like to achieve to reach your goal. Yet you are constrained by the available funds and can only choose two of the following for your scope of work. Scope 1: Existing - Propose a clinical trial for the existing drug Yerinz. Scope 2: Enhance - Make an antibody component like Lucia Scope 3: Go with a completely different route – i.e. define role of immune system and its potential to improve cell killing with virus causing the disease Select your choice of scope of work and explain why you decided to choose the same 50 – 100 words.
