HOW dose the Black lives matters movement performing resistance ? What dose that form of resistance mean to them ?
Black Lives Matter (BLM) is an international activist movement, originating in the African-American community, that campaigns against violence and systemic racism towards black people.
The movement aims to fight for the rights of the people who are discriminated on the basis of their colour of their skin.
A slogan was given "ALL LIVES MATTER" which means to communicate the message that all the people of the nation should be treated equally.
The movement was fragmented. One of the more contentious splits has been between Movement for Black Lives co-founders and another group called We The Protesters, led by high-profile activist DeRay McKesson.
Still, the movement’s impact has been visible in some communities. In recent controversial encounters between police and unarmed black people, law enforcement has responded faster and with more regret than seen in years past.
