As when the Cold war began , president Harry Truman intiated a civil rights agenda , and in the 1948 to be issued Executive Order 9981 to end the discrimination in the military . As these events helped a set of the stage for grass roots initiatives to enact racial equality of legislation and invite the civil rights movement as black freedom movement.
As after the post-war changes the entry of the United States into the World war II caused vaat changes in virtually at every aspect of American Life. Building the economic base left after the war, American society became more affluent in the post-war years than most of the Americans coluld have imagined in their wildest dreams before or during the war.
As the Korstad and Lichtenstein argue that the Cold War anti communism campaign negatively impacted African American activism , as a eroded support for the unions and African Americans with them. Because the fight to certain the communism , activism decreased as a union membership decreased . Then it is being realized that the Cold war and the civil right movement over all had a negative impact on the civil rights of movement.
