Like like any other constituent of society slaves are general human beings who can be found in the society and are different from the rest of the population because of their circumstances of living which usually involve living below the poverty line that leads to minimal standard of living. These individuals are enslaved by usually upper order members of the society and are promised meal and shelter in return. Slavery is a social construct which means that no individual is born as a slave or as a master but the circumstances of an individual's life can force them to lead their lives as slaves which is not only unfortunate for the individuals themselves but is very unethical in nature because slaves are not treated as employees and a not provided with any promised and fixed incomes and are conditioned to feel lesser about their own selves which makes a huge impact on their self-esteems.
