Social Responsibility: Now a days not only pharmaceutical and biotech but all companies are contributing to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). Issues such as education, water storage and supply, training, skill development are handled by various corporate organizations including pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Some companies supply basic medicines in subsidised rates to poors, during disaster they help in relief and rehabilitation of affected people. Global organizations like WHO has tie up with some pharmaceutical companies to carry out such activities.
